April 5, 2018 was the 5th annual A Night of Comedy in Honor of SSG Timothy R. McGill and all those we've lost in war. As usual, we had some incredibly talented comics come down to NJ and donate their time for a great cause. Paul Venier , Alise Morales , Chris DiStefano , and Yannis Pappas joined us this year for a hysterical fun filled night with food, drinks, raffles and swag. We had special guest host SGM Tyr Symank from 19th SFG who had previously served with SSG McGill emcee the show. The event was held at Debonair Music Hall in Teaneck, NJ (previously Mexicali Live) and organizations such as Adopt-A-Soldier Platoon and Dog Tag Brewing (who flew in from Bozeman, MT!) joined us.
We are able to run this event each year because of our generous supporters/grant writers and our selfless volunteers. We're fortunate enough to also have some of the funniest comics in the North East volunteer their time and remind everyone that laughter truly is therapy. Grateful is an understatement. For the first time this year we had some comedians who couldn't attend the event send in support videos which really motivated us to continue to work hard and keep paying it forward. (You can see one video below from Tom Segura , huge thank you to Ben Gleib as well for sending one which appears to be too big to upload here unfortunately)
We will continue to update our followers with events and news, you can always check back here and as always, we are forever thankful! Please enjoy some pictures from the show below. We also added the flyer for our next event which is June 3, 2018.
